Marciel Miranda is a Cuban musician, producer, and Grammy-nominated and Grammy Award-winning audio engineer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Havana, he is the co-founder of the Latin pop duo MYRANDAS, which he formed with Armenian singer Kristina Miranda after the two met in a recording studio in Cuba in 2009. His career bridges music production, engineering, and performance, combining his technical expertise in the studio with a creative background rooted in Cuban and Caribbean music. With MYRANDAS, Marciel has evolved from the project’s early rock influences toward a contemporary sound blending Latin grooves, pop, electronic music, and Afro-Caribbean elements. The duo has performed at events and venues including Havana World Music Festival, The NAMM Show, Sofar Sounds, Echo Park Rising, the Viper Room, and the LA County Fair’s NextFest, while sharing stages with artists such as Fonseca, Cimafunk, Stanley Clarke, and Wil-Dog Abers of Ozomatli. Their work has received coverage and support from outlets including the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Remezcla, Hola! USA, and TIDAL, establishing Marciel as both an accomplished engineer and a versatile artist working between the studio and the stage.
